22 October 2015

BrandRPM Press Release

BrandRPM today announced it was selected as the winner of Outstanding Achievement in Supply/Manufacturing award presented at Charlotte Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week.

BrandRPM CEO Vivienne Anderson said, “This is a great honor for us. We are thankful for the sponsors and all the excellent companies who are part of MED Week and who support minority business development throughout the year. We are proud of this recognition.”

Since 1983, the U.S. President has proclaimed a national Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week observance to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of minority business enterprises and to honor corporations and financial institutions that support minority business development. This year Charlotte celebrated MED week with educational workshops and a luncheon to commemorate the achievements of minority entrepreneurs and affirm the community’s commitment to equal opportunity.

At this year’s luncheon awards were presented to firms in construction, general services, professional services, and supply/manufacturing. Special recognition was given to Minority, Women and Small Business Enterprises (MWSBE) firms that excelled in the following areas: Market expansion, revenue growth, overcoming challenges, and their economic, environmental, or social contributions. BrandRPM excelled in several areas, including sustained double-digit year-over-year revenue growth.
